THE SECOND COMING

so kannan has to land back to London and that too before the onslaught of summer,to be precise by the third week of the second month f 2014 of Gregorian calender.not that he had committed any heinous crime that he knew of,nor by any natural calamity other than becoming a grandfather, to be accurate a dadaji as rawatji would have termed it,but by the act of hand of God.so from 36 degrees at ottapalam,he dropped down to 6 to 12 degree centigrade. the temperature was not an issue ,but the Atlantic chilled winds were.the sun was playing hide and seek, the clouds were threatening,with fleeting short tempered rains and hail storms and the climate was erratic on a hourly basis.the problem was , though the climate was condusive for a lazy idling with chai and books under the duvet  , which he enjoyed , he had the compulsive habit of smoking through his nose or rather life itself that he had to endure the extreme anger of the british cold atleast once in 120 minutes outside any concrete structure,[smoking is strictly prohibited inside any four walls here],.he had to protect his diabetic foot and the compensated arteritis of his extremities in his bare chappals with all the locals around wondering what the old fart is loitering around the paved streets of st.albans.yet my son and bahurani are kind enough to provide me with a jacket i am proud off..then whats thats keeping me on the go you might wonder.its nothing but my pethi little kavya who is engaging us all with her umpty antics.she s a cute little darling always playing with any thing other than her large kitty of toys,the plug pins cable wires,the buckets,the laptops,the tv remotes,the cells and what not.nothing is boring to her,she finds joy in anything and nothing,where as we feel bored with all gadgets,t.v,i pad ,books face book and you tube around. ponni is busy in kitchen. just imagine a south indian mami in kitchen with out a mixie,grinder or a cooker ,but still manages to make dosas for us all,god only knows how she is managing. i am missing my patients,sreevalsan's dog,asianet and vijay t.v.kannan knows london is going to disappoint him this time.
