HIRANYA ET ALL

Caution
This is neither a scientific article nor a mythological fact , only a fantasy of a dementiated soul .
The word ‘ Hiranya’ to be precise , a Sanskrit word long ago in practice around satya yuga denotes the modern day word ‘hernia’[Please don’t confuse the above term with ‘Hiranyam’ or ‘Hiranya gharbam’ with totally different meanings] .The definition of the term’ hiranya ‘ is a protrusion of vicious internal matter through any weakness in the outer surface in any part of the human body.

History

Though the west claim that this disease or abnormality has been discovered by sage Baylie in London in 1546, the hindus have recorded this entity prior to dwapara yuga and according to Srimad Bagavatha by Vyasa the above entity ‘ Hiranya’ was first noted in the siblings Hiranyaksha and Hiranyakasipu , by birth. In verse 64 ,chapter 16 Srimad Bhagavatha substantiates it by terming Hiranyaksha as having hiranya in ‘ akshus’ meaning in the region of eye ,meaning , the right eye has bulged out after herniation from the vicious brain[head weight]. As for as Hiranya kasipu’s case is concened the hiranya occurred in the ‘ kasipu’ meaning ,from the loins.
.Now as for as the treatment is concerned in Hiranyakshan’s case, the surgery was delayed and the swelling had grown to such an extent that the devas had mistaken that Hiranyaksha was eloping with the earth in his face and Lord Vishnu was left with no option other than to bore him to death in the form of a wild boar- a case of mistaken identity or false encounter as you may term.
In Hiranyakasupu’s case what happened was ,the hiranya became obstructed and later strangulated,meaning the internal vicious matter could not go back in to the abdominal cavity because of the accumulated filth resulting in severe abdominal pain and the Lord had to come out to alleviate his pain by excising the filthy matter out and thus the first hiranya operation was performed.
Since it was an emergency surgery , it had to be performed even in dusk. Since there was insufficient light inside and the threat of bacterial contamination was high outside ,it is claimed that the surgery was performed in the doorstep ,neither outside nor inside .Since there was no operation table in vogue then , he used his lap as the operation table.. Also just prior to surgery as it happens now a days also , the surgeons face turns animalistic ,a sort of sadistic metamorphosis ,the Lord’s face also resembled a lion ,hence he was also called Narasimha… The lack of fine surgical tools then was solved by the Prabhu using his nails for incision and separating the sac .But soon the darkness dawned and surgery couldn’t be completed and Hiranyakasupu was the first victim of hiranya surgery performed in the dark without catgut. Though there are other stories circulating that the Lord showed negligence to help out the king’s rebel son Prahlada for the throne ,I cannot blaspheme the Lord in the above case.
Thus was born the hiranya operation and followers still believe that the best results for the above surgery is inevitable if conducted after rahu kala and on Saturdays if possible.

THE PET LOVER

The monsoon has been ferocious this year and I sit relaxed scenting the fresh aroma of wet earth and it’s already 10 p.m..The rain fails to stop the three bark code of Sreevalsan’s dog and as usual I glance through my window. There he lies majestically yawning at the torrential down pour.Hey old fellow,he barks aloud ‘I see a lot of crowd over there for the last three days, come on , what’s happening? Me ‘didn’t I tell you my son was getting engaged? All these days I was running around , getting the food and relatives and by the grace of god everything went off well and shankar has been caged’.
Sreevalsan dog. ‘but I noticed it was your wife who was running the show and what a work load and you were escaping with the car’.
Me ‘don’t poke me, I do all the tough mental work like the planning commission! And no credit for me?’

Dog - ‘so now you ought to be feeling free and no more responsibilities, ha ha .Bye the way I was always wondering why you two legged creatures are bent up on living in pairs and that too for an entire life time .You are great in endurance and no body can beat you in enjoying the suffering and passing it on to the next generation as well ,don’t you feel guilty?’

Me - ‘not at all ..We are not used to getting heats in kanni masom and run amok with all the bitches in sight .We are a disciplined lot and we Brahmins particularly, pair for rituals and other religious reasons and for creating a new generation just for rituals and spiritual up liftment ,in short to attain nirvana.

Dog - ‘no more this blah - blah. Its you who are in the heats all through out the year with all sorts of perversions and given a chance I am sure you will cheat.

Me - ‘don’t give me dog’s ideas. I know how you suffer with out a bitch ,what ever petting Sreevalsan gives you .Better ask him to castrate you ,you devil.’

Dog - ‘to be frank , I wish I could kill him ,but he is killing me with his petting .Enough of his damn petting ! He has made me his little toy with his loathing love, I can’t even survive with out him ,so much dependency ,dependency to the core like some of you feel for the god .Humiliating ,you have made us a species , hopelessly dependent on you and you call yourselves dog lovers ,to be more precise animal lovers .what a paradox.!

Me - ‘hey, be cool. We have been giving you food ,water , shelter , our intense love like our Lord and chains to protect you from other stray dogs and yet what a guts to revolt against us.’

Dog - ‘ to hell with your food and shelter theory .We had lived in the forests as packs and with glee we used to roam like masters of the wild .We were ferociously independent and never needed you for your nauseating love. You tamed us , utilized us as your security and claimed us your pets .You made us so much dependent that we have to search for lamp posts to piss[like temples in your case] What a selfish species !. We yearn at least to be a stray dog since it has its own limited independence .It has learned to survive even your traffic ,and can get on with a bitch now and then.
Leave us ,you have practiced this with your own species ,no? What about the enslaving of the black people .the aborigines, because of the color of your skin ?. Now what are you doing to the so called scheduled tribes and castes , is it because they are black?. You even pet them by bestowing subsidies in jobs , education ,but you want them to be your slaves and caged in their place. You bully the weak , no? ultimately you are looking for some one to be your slave ,whether its your wife, employee or those willing to be meek. The same thing your so called lord is also doing - ENSLAVING.
